The Barzago area and neighboring towns offer all the essentials of basic necessities. A leisurely 10-minute walk from the residence takes you to Barzanò’s Unieuro, Simply Market, Acqua e Sapone, Sapore di Mare, Sport Specialist and Frida.
Also of note is the Motto Bakery, a few meters from the residence, where sandwiches, pizzas and flatbreads are baked daily. Also located in the township is the All for Pets store, where you can find the necessities to care for your friends whether they are 4-legged or 2-legged.

The municipality is home to the municipal sports field, equipped with 7- and 11-a-side soccer fields, skating rink, outdoor basketball court and gymnasium. Instead, pool lovers can head to the adjacent town of Barzanò, which is equipped with indoor pools and a summer area with even slides and games for children. In the facility you can practice both free swimming and take courses to join the competitive swimming team, synchronized swimming and water polo

For animal lovers, there is no shortage of certain outdoor places to take them for walks. The municipality has special areas for dogs, but it is also possible, moving just a few kilometers, to walk through the areas of the Montevecchia and Curone Valley Regional Park.

The municipality of Barzago provides its residents with the San Giuseppe preschool and Pulici elementary school, part of the Barzanò comprehensive school. Middle schools will need to move to the latter municipality, at the Enrico Fermi facility.
Finally, there are a number of high schools distributed in the municipalities bordering Barzago, such as the Parini linguistic high school in Barzanò, the Bachelet scientific and technical commercial and surveyor institute in Oggiono, the Greppi classical high school and technical commercial institute in Monticello, and finally the institute for commercial and tourist services in Casatenovo.
Finally, there is a private nursery school Hakuna Ma-Tata on the territory of Barzago.

Barzago is a municipality in the province of Lecco with 2,400 inhabitants bordering Barzanò, Bulciago, Castello Brianza, Sirone, Sirtori, Garbagnate Monastero, Cremella and Dolzago.
The municipality is 19 km from Lecco, 28 km from Monza and 40 km from Milan, all of which can be reached by driving along the SS36. Also easily accessible from Barzago is Bergamo, located 40 km from the town.
