Cesano Boscone School

In the 1970s, Cesano Boscone middle schools rose in two lots: the first established the rationality of the architecture, to which the second gave continuation and completion. The regular, squarish scanning of the windows stamps the design to simplicity and symmetry crowned by concrete eaves. Simple, however, does not mean trivial. On two floors, the repetition of the same compositional module harmonizes the works of the first and second lots, giving rhythm and articulation to the spaces. The vastness of the entrance, the development of classrooms, the accompanying garden, and the location of the gymnasium facilitate and almost guard the influx of students.
