The renovation renews the municipal headquarters, founded on the late 19th century, recovering its ancient spaces to new efficiency. The intervention operates on two fronts: to preserve the existing building, indeed designing a garden to ennoble its architectural perception; to place side by side a modern and functional structure that is immediately distinguishable from the historic building. Within the added body, the spiral staircase stands out in black on glass, declining a restrained but stark choice that happily characterizes the entire site.
