Civasco farmstead

Recovery of the ancient rural settlement called “Cascina Civasco,” nestled in the countryside on the outskirts of Milan. The building is characterized by a large, airy courtyard around which the various buildings that formed the core of the old farmhouse are arranged. Special design attention, sensitive to the pre-existing architectural typology, has meant that even some elements connoting the original rural settlement, such as barns, have been preserved and used as residences. The materials used in the construction are traditional, just like the original ones, such as: brick, plaster, terracotta roofing with wooden frames, wooden loggias.
