Interventions within the Vimercate hospital facility took place in several batches, performed at various times. Major works include the modernization of the historical body and the construction of science laboratories. Modernizations of historic structures have implemented the technological level of the buildings without altering their exterior aesthetics. With regard to laboratories, new buildings architecturally different from the existing were demolished and constructed, such as the new multi-story building used for dialysis service.
