The work involved the complete demolition of the historic building adjacent to the parish church, replacing it with the construction of the oratory, catechism classrooms and the parish priest’s apartment in one building.
Indicatively, the new construction traced the site of the old building going to create a structure more in keeping with the demand for new educational and community entertainment spaces.
The project included the recovery of local architectural typology through the use of traditional materials, particularly the stone base and window surrounds.
