The multifamily building is developed in neat, compact and rectilinear forms. On the south front, toward the lake, however, the designer envisions pilasters and balconies that open up the otherwise monolithic architecture.
The pilaster strip provides a vertical backdrop to guard the privacy of each overlook. The balcony, however, does not abut at a right angle on the pilaster but joins at a gentler angle. The conversation between these two elements is such that it connotes the entire prospectus, cadencing its rhythm.
