The new hospital complex in the city of Carate Brianza expands the historic core of the old hospital. The building is characterized by a modern architectural composition, which is completely detached from the existing building, although connecting with it through a suspended element. The plasticity of reinforced concrete is enhanced with the formation on the facades of sunshade systems and by the expressiveness of the design of the balconies. The scanning of the facades is further emphasized by the color and material of the window frames.
